P1 means contact first. Stage fit is a screening judgement; no investor commitment or allocation is recorded.

Turning the shortlist into a funding plan

A staged raise with clear deliverables.

Raise amounts remain to be set from work-package quotes and runway. Confirm whether each partner will fund company equity, project development, a paid study or a specific grant scope.

Where to start

Start locally with FundWA and Perth Angels; approach Aurelia first for a mandate check. In parallel, test the climate investment case with Virescent, Twynam, Investible and Artesian, and the agrifood case with Tenacious.

Qantas is a strategic route if there is a credible alcohol-to-jet pathway. Discuss ARENA eligibility alongside private equity. These are suggested approaches, with interest still to be established.

What the seed and FEED rounds should enable

Seed: verify commercial rights, strengthen crop and process evidence, prepare the pilot design basis and build the investment case.

Stage 1: define FEED scope and cost, site and utility requirements, feedstock arrangements, product qualification, prospective offtake and permitting. Construction capital is a later financing decision.

How to read stage fit and investment amounts

Seed candidates include good stage fit and conditional or mandate-check prospects. FEED candidates include possible co-funders and exploratory strategic partners; most still need a company-level growth case. Later finance has separate readiness requirements.

Published amounts are contextual, sometimes historical, and are not funding offered to ORA. Do not add overlapping funds or national programs as independent available capital. P1, P2 and P3 are engagement priorities, not probabilities of investment.

Evidence and current limitations

Based on the ORA capital investor research workbook reviewed 27 September 2026. Sources and conditions are linked in each record. Check current mandate, application availability and decision-makers before approaching an organisation.

The Kwinana pilot is proposed. Site access, hosting terms, proprietary rights, technical performance and customer commitments require evidence. No ORA funding allocation or investor endorsement is asserted by this directory.
