CO₂ Storage Risks & Costs: Busting Perceptions and Myths

Professional recognition

From subsurface insight
to energy transition.

More than 22 years of international experience across operator roles, independent advisory and project development.

My career spans Shell, Brunei Shell Petroleum and NAM, a Shell secondment to Equinor’s Northern Lights project, and global CCS consulting with Halliburton. Today, through APES, I bring technical, commercial and regulatory perspectives together across carbon storage, renewable integration, industrial decarbonisation and sustainable fuels.

I work with operators, industry, governments and multidisciplinary teams to test options, make uncertainty explicit and build a defensible path forward.
